돈이나 지위가 아니라 부(富)를 추구하라. 부란 당신이 잠자는 동안에도 수익을 창출하는 자산이다. 돈은 우리가 시간과 부를 이동시키는 수단이고, 지위는 사회적 계층에서 당신의 위치이다.
시간을 빌려주면서 부자가 될 수는 없다. 경제적 자유를 얻으려면 지분(equity), 즉 사업의 일부를 소유해야 한다.
사회가 원하지만 아직 얻는 방법을 모르는 것을 대규모로 제공함으로써 당신은 부자가 될 것이다.
장기적으로 함께할 수 있는 사람들과 장기적인 게임을 할 수 있는 산업을 선택하라.
